Understanding the Exam
The Indian Patent Agent Exam consists of 3 parts:
- Viva Voce (Oral Examination): Assesses overall understanding and practical knowledge.
- Paper II (Descriptive Type): Tests drafting skills and legal aspects.
- Paper I (Objective Type): Tests knowledge of the Patents Act, 1970 and the Patents Rules, 2003.
